Hatkeshwar Shiva Temple at Mahadev Ghat

The Hatkeshwar temple is a very valuable temple of Hindus. Located on the banks of Kharun river, this temple is about 5 km from Raipur. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple was built by Najiraj Naik in the year 1402. There is a Shivling in the inner premises of the temple, which is believed to have emerged in itself. On the other hand, outside the temple is beautifully decorated with 9 planets, deities, musicians, scenes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana, Apsara dances, flower presentations and other paintings.
